Real Madrid extended their perfect start to the La Liga season with a 2-0 home win over Espanyol.
The opener came in the 22nd minute, when Éder Militao unleashed a stunning long-range strike that gave Madrid an early lead.
The second goal arrived early in the second half: Kylian Mbappé finished off a move that began with Vinícius Jr., who was lively throughout the match.

Real Madrid controlled possession and tempo for much of the game, pressing with intensity and keeping Espanyol largely on the back foot.
Espanyol had limited clear chances, with the Madrid defense well organised. Their strategy appeared focused on resisting pressure, but they couldn’t capitalize when chances did arise.
