    • Neeraj Chopra (India) advanced to the final with a throw of 84.85m in qualification, achieving the automatic standard on his first attempt.
    • Arshad Nadeem (Pakistan) needed three attempts, eventually reaching 85.28m to edge into the final.
    • Another Indian, Sachin Yadav, also made it to the final (10th best in qualifiers).

    • India’s Sarvesh Kushare cleared 2.25 meters to finish 6th in the men’s high jump final, becoming the first Indian high jumper to reach a World Championships final in that event.
